Very good... Now, a small thing: I have been following Dev tutorials for a while, and I can´t find the brush form menu. I have Photoshop 7.0, too, but the Options menu has only the "Normal, dissolve, etc" submenu, and the Opacity slider.
the best part about your tutorials is that breaking down such wonderful art makes it more possible - seeing the process makes me realize that it CAN be done - maybe i should break away from my safe art and be more ambitious....
I've been looking at your stuff for a long time (from when i first saw you on gaia a few years ago) (i think it was gaia) and everything you create is just so unique and beautiful! how ever do you pick suck perfect colours? i'm terrible at picking colour, especially for skin tone and backgrounds (well everything really)
This is a very good work, and an even better tutorial. I don't know if it will help you at all, but I recently wrote a painter tutorial showing how I made one picture. But, it is not as detailed as yours...at least I know what to fix for next time
Hello. er, i'm not sure if you read all your comments all the time...but I just wanted to let you know how amazing I think you are. Honestly, the stuff you churn out, it's simply breathtaking! There's a quality to your artwork that is bordering on realism, but not quite. It has this special characteristic that makes it fun and mysterious, something that makes it not quite like any other piece of work I've ever come across before: It's alive. You're artwork is alive, and it gives the person viewing it that feeling as well. One of the many reasons I adore your artwork is not only the obvious amount of time and effort but also the obvious amount of love! And this plays through to the person looking at your art. I don't know about anyone else, but I feel both whole AND empty when I see your works. It's strange but in a good way. Your tutorials are also SO amazingly comprehensive and you're SO helpful. I know you must hear this from alot of people, and really, I know I sound like i'm trying to get something from you, but I'm really not. ^^, i just wanted you to know how awesome an artist AND person I think you are! Keep up the good stuff.
Oh! and i study french so here goes: Vous etes excellent!
HOmg, absolutlely. I feel so...i don't kno how to feel. it's ridiculous. NO one does that for me quite like his art. its a gift. its a.....i don't even kno. All i know is its gorgeous and makes me whole in some obscure way...
I agree a thousand percent...it's whimsical. A feeling only children have nowadays. Sixio's art is my favorite on this site, by far. I mean, in general. I've actually favored 102 pieces so far on dArt, and of those, Sixio's art is favored the most, and the most often.
