In the school of life you will learn the Shame,
You will find that your place isn't on the Earth,
In your schoolbag, some echoes of loneliness.

The shame is a jam which blushes and spreades,
As a magnet for stray laughs, jeers and smiles.
You will be the center of a giant world wide web,
The object used to unwind when other are bored,
The deposit of what they refuse in their house.

In the school of life you will also learn the honour.
No reason to shy away from this, you can enhance,
Being proud to give everybody a place and a chance.
The daring to think everybody born in the difference,
As a unique shade of a rainbow but not only a colour.
'Cause hair or skin can't mask that every hearts are red.


French :

A l'école de la vie, vous apprendrez la honte,
Ne soyez pas surpris de vous sentir de trop,
Et dans un cartable, un destin à la quasimodo.

La honte colle, salit, s'étale et colore la peau,
Une réelle parodie, comme un aimant à fiasco.
Vous êtes au centre d'un monde qui s'ennuie,
L'objet qui défoule, amuse et que l'on détruit
Le dépot de tout ce que l'on veut pas voir chez soi.

A l'école de la vie, vous apprendrez aussi l'honneur,
Le courage de ne pas passer à coté ton enfance,
L'audace de croire qu'on nait dans la difference,
Qu'à chacun sa place et qu'à chacun sa chance,
Que personne ne se résume par une couleur,
Cheveux ou peaux, tout rouge sont les coeurs.

I wanted to make a song, and was going through your gallery to find an artwork that would convey an emotion and story that I an use to write a song. (Your artworks and poems always impact my emotions and tell great stories)

So while going through your gallery I looked at this artwork, and just a brief look at the emotion of this artwork and the melancholic feeling it conveys gave me an idea for a song.

So I've made a song based on the emotions around this artwork.
I'd like your permission to use this artwork in the album art for my song; if not I'll just create a graphic of my own, but I really think this artwork will match it best. I will credit you wherever possible.
