They put pawns on the market,
Nothing seems to checkmate,
We dance on a cheese board.

A new year party has begun,
We see the same chicken run,
Still sentenced to be ignored.

It's the best part of the meal,
"Say cheese" to the new deal,
This is a game you can't afford.

They control us like pieces,
At the rate of the increases,
It's played on a chessboard.
